Support KGI

When you give to KGI, you become a partner in our mission to educate the best and brightest students to become leaders in the healthcare and life science industries. With your continuing support, we stay at the cutting edge of innovation.

Meet Jemal Hussein ‘23

Supported students who graduate are more likely to be active citizens, lead healthier lifestyles, and give back to the community. All of these gains affect our families and communities. Supporting scholarships can help students obtain these successes and lead to a more intelligent, more robust nation.

Give Online

Student Organization

Support for Student Organizations will provide additional funding for students to attend professional and career development conferences, host engaging activities on campus, and enhance the campus-life experience at KGI.

Student Success Fund

The KGI Student Success Fund ensures we can move roadblocks together and help get all KGI students across the commencement stage and on their way to rewarding careers.

Student Scholarships

Student scholarships reduce the financial burden of the rising costs of college education, providing students more time and energy to focus on studies rather than part-time work.

Areas of Greatest Need

These gifts provide KGI leadership with the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our students, award financial aid, take advantage of arising opportunities, and react to unforeseen challenges.

Other Ways to Give

Types of Gifts

An endowment is a donation that is held indefinitely and invested to provide continuous support for the activities specified by the donor. Current KGI policy safeguards the long-term growth of its endowment fund by allocating a portion of the endowment's value for annual use.

An annual contribution that offers discretionary support for a particular program, initiative, or school at KGI, fostering growth and advancement.

A major gift is a generous contribution that exceeds $25,000 and is tailored to align with the donor's specific interests and the institute's needs. Typically, major gifts are provided over a span of several years through a pledge, and a gift agreement document is established to formalize the terms of the donation, including its purpose, recognition, and funding schedule, in mutual agreement with the donor and the institute.

A gift of non-monetary items of tangible personal property, such as art, collectibles, books, equipment, and other physical assets or materials that hold value for KGI.

An easy way to double or even triple your donation to KGI is to find out if your company has a matching gift program. Many corporations have demonstrated their support for KGI by matching, or multiplying, their employees’ gifts to the University. Before you make a gift, consult your company’s personnel office for further information about matching programs or search our online Matching Companies database.

Planned giving is a vehicle that allows donors to make larger gifts than they could make from their income alone. Learn about all our planned giving options by contacting the Vice President of Advancement with specific inquiries.

A gift of your securities, including your stocks or bonds, is an easy way for you to make a gift. By making a gift of your appreciated securities, you can avoid paying capital gains tax that would otherwise be due if you sold these assets.

A gift that is used towards the establishment or improvement of a physical space on campus. This can vary from new construction of buildings to naming privileges of rooms (i.e. Dean’s office, specific classrooms, and conference rooms) and renovation of existing structures.
