Daniel Montplaisir has joined Keck Graduate Institute as the new Vice President of Advancement, effective September 3. He brings more than three decades of experience spearheading fundraising, board of trustee relations, and corporate partnerships for higher education institutions.
"I am thrilled to join Keck Graduate Institute’s esteemed leadership team at this transformative moment," said Montplaisir. "Daniel’s extensive experience and strong alignment with our mission make him an invaluable addition to our leadership team as we embark on our next phase of development and continue to advance teaching, research, and learning that connects to the life sciences and healthcare industries and brings Keck Graduate Institute to the world."
Before joining KGI, Montplaisir was Vice President of University Advancement at Cal Poly Pomona and CEO of the Cal Poly Pomona Philanthropic Foundation. His previous roles include Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development at the University of California Irvine and Vice President for Advancement at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he successfully completed the institution’s first fundraising campaign, expanded alumni relations, and launched a national media campaign.
