Ross A. Grossman Board Chair
Former Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Ross Grossman served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals from 2002 until his retirement at the end of 2013, before returning to that role in April 2015 until his second retirement in May 2016. He previously held senior Human Resources roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Prudential Financial, and UBS.
During his time at Regeneron, the company launched four new drugs while growing from a few hundred employees to almost 5,000, and from a market capitalization of under $1 billion to over $60 billion. Starting in 2011, Science Magazine ranked Regeneron as either the No. 1 or No. 2 biopharmaceutical employer in the world every year, and since 2015, Regeneron appears on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list.
Grossman also serves on boards of the Center for Excellence in Education and Velox, a biomedical services company and consults with biotechs preparing for massive growth.
Grossman received a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Fullerton, a Master of Arts and PhD in English and American Literature from Claremont Graduate University, and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from UCLA.
Grossman joined the KGI Board of Trustees in 2014 and was announced as Board Chairman in July 2023.
