Ross A. Grossman Board Chair

Former Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Ross Grossman served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals from 2002 until his retirement in 2013, later returning to that role in April 2015 until his second retirement in May 2016. He previously held senior Human Resources roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Prudential Financial, and UBS.

During his time at Regeneron, the company launched four new drugs while growing from a few hundred employees to almost 5,000, and from a market capitalization of under $1 billion to over $40 billion. Since 2011, readers of Science Magazine ranked Regeneron as either the No. 1 or No. 2 biopharmaceutical employer in the world; and, since 2015, Regeneron has appeared on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list, ranking as high as No. 72 in 2016.

Grossman received a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Fullerton, an Master of Arts and PhD in English and American Literature from Claremont Graduate University, and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from UCLA.

Grossman was announced as the new Board Chairman for KGI’s Board of Trustees in July 2023.
