Wolf joined Capital in January 2006 and was formerly the assistant vice president for technology transfer at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), a nonprofit university that also manages the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) for NASA. He was a co-founder of WebEventBroadcasting and Xen Golf and was previously a member of the board of directors of Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Arxceo, and Micromanipulator, and he was the chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of Arrowhead Research. He is a member of the board of trustees of Caltech, and he is chairman of the Ahmanson Lovelace Brain Mapping Medical Research Organization at UCLA.
Wolf is a graduate of Princeton University cum laude, received a PhD from Caltech, and is a registered patent agent.
He is based in Los Angeles.
