Omar Gaya

Omar Gaya is passionate about leveraging competitive strategies that enable scientific breakthroughs to dramatically enhance patients’ lives. Gaya has been part of the Strategy & Investor Relations team at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals since 2011, and is currently the Head of Strategic Intelligence, where his team leverages best practices from biotech/pharma equity research to provide coverage of the competitive landscape. Prior to Regeneron, Gaya held multiple roles with increasing responsibility at Gilead Sciences in Medical Affairs and Commercial Strategy.

Gaya earned dual degrees in Bioengineering and Applied Mathematics at the University of California, San Diego. Gaya then attended the Keck Graduate Institute, earning a Master of Bioscience degree as part of the third graduating class.
