Eileen Engelberg

KGI Bioscience Industry Advisory Board Member, KGI Adjunct Faculty; Chief of Staff for the Final Product Technologies group in Process Development at Amgen Inc.

Currently, Eileen is the Chief of Staff for the Final Product Technologies group in Process Development at Amgen Inc. She runs the business office and manages the Senior Leadership Team for this group. Eileen leads resource forecasting, budgeting and financial management, goal and KPI tracking, and department-level strategic initiatives. Eileen joined Amgen in 2017 and has worked in Business Analysis and External Process Development doing financial analysis and helping to facilitate PD Strategy. She was also a Graduate Intern in the Operations Leadership Program in the summer of 2016. Prior to Amgen, Eileen worked within the Behavioral Neuroscience department at the University of Colorado at Boulder doing learning and memory research. She later joined the Vanderbilt Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery to develop therapeutics for Alzheimer’s and Schizophrenia disease, and then worked at the Oregon Health and Science University Cancer Department doing breast cancer research. She holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a master’s degree in business and bioscience from the Keck Graduate Institute. Eileen is passionate about advancing early technology in the healthcare space.
