Scholarships

KGI FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Students are encouraged to submit an application early in order to receive first consideration for KGI sponsored fellowships and scholarships. All KGI sponsored aid is awarded on the basis of a scholarship interview, academic merit, and the overall promise shown by an applicant.

General criteria for potential awards include:

  • Scholarship Interview
  • Standardized test scores (GRE / GMAT / MCAT)
  • Undergraduate GPA
  • Personal statement
  • Work and/or relevant research experience
  • Leadership / community involvement

All admitted students will receive an aid package that is unique to him or her.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS

Admitted students may schedule their on-campus Scholarship Interview on any KGI Visitation Day.  Scholarship Interviews are held on the KGI campus and give students the opportunity to interview for scholarship/fellowship support. Scholarship results are generally available within ten business days of your interview.

If you are admitted to KGI's Master of Bioscience program you are eligible for travel reimbrsement of up to $500*.

Candidates residing in the US: If you do not attend one of the  KGI Visitation Days avalaible,  an alternative date will not typically be available.

International Students: If you are currently living in the US you are eligible to attend a KGI Visitation Day. If you are admitted and are currently living outside the U.S, a KGI staff member will contact you to make alternative arrangements in order to review your fellowship and/or scholarship package.

KGI SPECIFIC SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS

KGI offers a professional masters degree similar to an MBA with an emphasis on individual professional development so scholarship support is limited. However, all admitted applicants are eligible for scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $36,000 with an average award of about $18,000 per year. We do not offer stipends for masters level study. Beckman Coulter is offering a KGI full tuition scholarship to a citizen of the People's Republic of China from China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan.
