Arthur D. Riggs
Director Emeritus, Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope  Served as Chair of the Biology Department, City of Hope Medical Center 1982-2001. Member, National Academy of Sciences, 2006. Recipient of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Research Award in 1979 for work leading to the bacterial production of insulin.
