Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences (KGI) is a member of the Claremont Colleges consortium.  KGI was founded in 1997 and enrolled its first class of students in 2000.

KGI offers the two-year professional degree, the Master of Bioscience (MBS).  Enrollment is projected to reach 120 students in the two years of the program; currently there are 82 MBS students. 

KGI's faculty have a wide range of academic and industry experience.  There are 21 full-time and part-time faculty who teach and conduct research.  Annual sponsored research funding is approximately $230,000 per faculty member.
